I don’t normally pay too much attention to Pantone’s “Color of the Year.” I usually make a note about it, to see if it predicts any future trends, but it’s not typically a color that people would use on their walls. Enter Cloud Dancer.

This year is a little bit different! Pantone chose a totally usable white for 2026, and I just know that people are going to want to bring the look inside their homes. Here we will go over paint colors that you can use to get the look, from every major brand!
What Color is Pantone Cloud Dancer? (Let’s Talk Undertones!)
Cloud Dancer is a pretty neutral white! It’s in the area of the color wheel where many beige and taupe paint colors are found. That being said, you may find that it has a very slight pink undertone.

This is good news if you hate when white paint colors lean yellow, because Cloud Dancer doesn’t ever do that. (And neither do these dupes, for the most part!)

Sherwin Williams Version of Cloud Dancer
When I first saw Cloud Dancer, it immediately reminded me of Sherwin Williams Snowbound:

This white is a true white color that has a warm undertone. Like Cloud Dancer, Snowbound can look a wink pink. Here we see this a little on the wall, against Agreeable Gray on the trim and door.

Relative to many other white paint colors, Snowbound is a little more gray, which helps neutralize its undertone.

Snowbound is a little bit darker than Cloud Dancer, so I did go through quite a few other white paint colors hoping to get closer. In the end this was still the best tone match that Sherwin Williams offers.
Get the Cloud Dancer Look From Benjamin Moore
From Benjamin Moore, the best color match for Cloud Dancer is the shade Alabaster. Do NOT confuse this with the much more popular Sherwin Williams Alabaster, which is quite different.

Benjamin Moore Alabaster ranges in appearance from true white to soft white with a quiet pink undertone. It can look a bit creamy, but it doesn’t look yellow.

Alabaster has about the same LRV as Cloud Dancer would if it was paint (approx 85). The undertone of Alabaster is exactly the same as Cloud Dancer, but it is just a little bit stronger. Cloud Dancer is a touch more gray in comparison.
Dupe Cloud Dancer at Home Depot (Behr)
Over at Home Depot, the best paint match for Pantone’s Cloud Dancer, is Behr Bit of Sugar.

You can see that Bit of Sugar is a little lighter than Cloud Dancer, but it is the best overall color match that Behr offers. A lot of Behr whites are warm in a creamy yellow way, and not a red/pink way.
Here is a look at Bit of Sugar in real life, where you can definitely glimpse the subtle pink-ness:
If you don’t want a white that is quite this bright, you might prefer Behr New House White:

At face value, this looks like a closer match to Cloud Dancer, but it’s only because the LRV is the same. The undertone of New House White actually leans a little more into the red than Cloud Dancer, and it’s also a little stronger.
These are of course, pretty subtle differences still.
Best Valspar Version of Cloud Dancer (Lowe’s)
The best color match for Cloud Dancer at Lowe’s, is Valspar Bistro White.

Bistro White is a beautiful white with subtle warmth in the form of a whispering pink undertone. Here is a great example where you can see the undertone, and truly appreciate how subtle it is:
Can’t spot it? If you look to the corners of the room (and parts of the ceiling) you can kind of see it. If you still can’t: Congratulations! You aren’t likely to see it in your home either.
The color on the trim and wainscoting is Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige, and if you happen to like this look, I have a whole post dedicated to it! : White Walls with Sherwin Williams Accessible Beige Trim (Alabaster and More!)
Here is another look at each of these dupes:

Thank you so much for reading until the end! That really helps my blog. I hope this inspired you to try out a color of the year! Want to see a few more? I’ve got them! :
